If this game is a close one I think Somerset will pull it out but McCreary seems to play well in big games especially at home so it would not surprise me to see them win by 12-16 points.

 

Jumpermom is correct that the game was closer than the final score. I think 13 was the largest lead of the game for Lincoln.

Actually it was closer than indicated.. Somerset led at half, an was down 5 at the end of the third.. Somerset fouled and LC made 10 straight free throws within the last minute and a half to make it a 12 point game..

 

Exactly, LC controlled the second half of the game. Down 5 after three, could not come back and get the lead, so they started fouling. To me, this means one team was in control of the game, therefore the other had to foul to try to get more posistions. The 12 pt spread was a fair representation of the closeness of the two teams.

I really dont see how the 12 point spread is a fair representation of the closeness of the two teams whenever that was the largest lead of the night and the score was with in 5 points up untill the 4th quarter.. Yes, you could say Lincoln controlled the 4th quarter, but when they made there free throws at the end is what made it a 12 point game..
