Tournaments @ CovCath

Featured Replies

CovCath did a fantastic job of hosting both the JV and Freshman Tournaments on Saturday. They announced all the players to spot lights and smoke machine coming out of the tunnel. It made it very special for the kids. Trophies for the Freshman all-tournament team were first class. Thanks CovCath staff.

By the way NewCath beat CovCath 41-36 in the JV game and Boone beat Dixie by about 20 in the Freshman Finals.

I'm not sure how long its been going on at CCH but I played in it in 1978.

Same here, but I know that it was there at least the year before because I saw Beal and Walton and company win it there for Holmes. The introduction of the players in the finals with the spotlights left a lasting impression. Been there many times since, and have always thought it a first class event.

Henry, let me say how impressed I am with you. I could be talking about your posts and knowledge. Top notch.

However, what I'm really talking about is having "One on one" as your avatar. Its one of my all-time favorites of the "I don't see to remember that movie" bunch. When he was at practice on speed.... Bravo to you.
