As an administrator and site base council who do you field to be your next head coach . The Lady Royals will be very young for the next couple of years and it is very important to get the right person for the job. Any thoughts?:argue:

I'm thinking maybe Jason Butler. Also, is Joe McKay going to be sticking around for awhile? Him, or Kent Moore may also be candidates for the job. I look for it to be someone who is already in the girls basketball system at Mason County and close to the program.

Jason Butler would be a great hire for he has been in the system awhile and knows the players. They know him, his style, wouldn't be a hard adjustment. I dont think McKay is interested in the head coaching position. Don't know about Moore.

Needs to be someone Fairly young and can bring a lot of energy to the table to go with these youngsters.Mason has some very good talent in the middle school coming up.

Mason may not be good these next 2 or so years, but you're right about the middle school talent. There is even an excellent ball handler (behind the back on the run and then between the legs, and all of that good stuff) in the 5th grade right now. And they also have some very talented 7th graders, a lot who are receiving freshman experience this year, and some very talented 6th graders as well. Mason County has a lot to look forward to when these youngsters come up.
