What does Pleasure Ridge Park need to do to improve in 2008? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Any thoughts on how good the Panthers will be this year? I know they return some talented varsity players and fielded very good JV and freshman teams. With a new coach could this be the year PRP joins Male and Manual as serious contenders?

Based on what the Panthers have coming up from the younger teams, PRP could cause some problems for both Manual and Male in the district this season. They will not be a team to be taken lightly. The key element may be how quickly they adapt to their new coach now that Wolfe has retired.

Last season was supposed to be the Panthers year to claw their way deep into the 6A playoffs. They will be very inexperienced at the varsity level. They may give an equally inexperienced Male squad a run for their money. Fern Creek is another unknown depending on how their QB situation pans out.

I still like Coach R to make the difference in this district. If PRP had some of their baseballers playing football, they could really make some noise.

PRP does have one of their baseballers returning to the gridirion in Taylor Banks. Taylor I believe was an All district linebacker in football and on the All Tournament team at Applebees.

You're correct about Male and PRP being in separate districts now, but for whatever reason I did think that they were scheduled to play this season.

However, after looking at Male's 2008 schedule, I found that the Bulldogs do play every team in 2008 from their old district (St. X., Manual, and Butler) with the sole exception of PRP. Nonetheless, if they did play, I think PRP would give Male a very tough contest, and are also quite capable of upsetting Manual.
