That is not what the rule was intended for...

Point taken, check my post #28 above. I let my extreme dislike for Belicheck and Tom Brady get into it :thumb:. I agree that it was a good move. I just don't think that it should have been alowed. JMO

I think that this is the case with most who are saying such things, same thing with the whole Belichick leaving early thing.

I just laugh. If the shoe was on the other foot, and nothing was done, it would have been "there go the Pats, cheating again". Or, "I'm glad he left early, Belichick is a jerk and I wouldn't wait for him either."

Believe it or not, they've actually come up with a word for people like that........I'll give you a hint, it rhymes with taters  Just kiddin with you OR.

Oh the irony.

Not lost on me either.....

I will say that this is an issue that needs to be addressed. Instant replay has its uses, and it should be restricted to non-judgement, by the book rules (that's hard enough as it is).

For instance: Replay shows that a hard hit ball to the OF was actually foul. There is no interpretation here.

What it shouldn't be used for: Replay shows that the previously called strike 3 was actually .0759875 inches off the outside corner. Judgement call, leave it up to the judges.
