Not that I saw. A couple of female fans were escorted out by Whitley's finest, but overall it was just another Hound and Colonel matchup.

Jason Faulkner, great guy! I believe he will be a head coach somewhere soon, first, I thought it would be at Harlan Co. but if Pennington who is rumored to leave for an administration position, I think that he could easly be seen in th black and orange.

I think Whitley played almost all their 9th and 10th graders in the JV game. AKins did not play due to him being in the starting lineup in place of LeBanion. They got some fine looking young players. The JV coach at Whitley did a heck of job as well. I recall him being a WBurg player a few years back. I think his name is Tyler Faulkner.

I was really impressed with how hard his JV team played. They also ran the floor like gangbusters. Two years from now those kids will be really, really, good.

Hounds will face a huge task in attempting to keep Cody Miller under 30 points tonight. That boy is talented and at 6'6 a very tough matchup.

Whitley played well in the first half but could not physically handle the pressure of Corbin in the second half. Immaturity hurt them, when they got down they kind of tossed in the towel. Corbin has a heck of a good team when they are hitting on all cylinders as they were in the second half. Any doubt about the Hounds after the SL game should be gone.

 

The JV game shows you just how good Whitley could be in a couple of years, playing against kids your own age and maturity level (especially physically) makes a world of difference.

 

Whitley continues to make strides and Coach Baker is doing a great job, given time he will turn the program around more than people would have expected.

 

Glad to see Josh Crawford playing well, he a good kid and always like to see him do well.

I can't see him going to Lynn Camp....More than likely Williamsburg.....that makes WAY more sense to me.

I believe that Faulkner and Coach Robinson were teammates at Williamsburg, that would make a nice coaching combo for the Jackets. Especially if some of the young talent tagged along to boot.
