bugatti Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 What does Sheldon Clark need to do to improve in 2008? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.
EKUAlum05 Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 Sheldon Clark's first issue is addressing the loss of nearly 90% of their offensive production. Adam Dials may very well be the best player to ever suit up in a Cardinal uniform on the offensive side, and the Kelley kid also has been a critical aspect of the Cardinals presence on the statewide scene over the past few seasons. SC always seems to produce big/strong offensive lineman, and next year should be no different. I cannot remember the kid's name, but they had a Freshman QB who was very impressive passing the ball. I fully expect SC to take a few lumps next year as their young talent finds its niche on the varsity level. But, the Cards could be a dangerous team come playoff time. The biggest obstacles for SC next year: 1. Inexperience 2. Finding the right mix of skill players 3. Belfry
Sir Ralph II Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 I think a lot of people are underestimating Kelly. He was out most of the season with injuries. His soph. year he had nearly the same yardage as Dials with less carries per game. He's also a force on defensive. I see them being a better team in 08.
