I disagree. Rowan was the better team that night but PC is the better of the two teams night after night. Rowan would NEVER beat PC by 20 on any court. PC played as bad as they could and they were still competitive and down 1 with less than 1:30 to go and made another unforced turnover.

 

I don't know what game you were watching, but from the middle of the 3rd on, it was NEVER a 1 pt game. the closest it ever got after that was 4 at 58-54. And, with the difference in the schedules, its ridiculous to say that PCC is better. I can virtually guarantee you one thing....PC would DEFINITELY have lost a game to a KY team had they played anybody but MC. And, judging by the threads on here, I have a pretty good idea what happened that night. You have to have more than one person that can dribble in order to be an elite team...30 turnovers? lol

 

 

Since RC beat the top two teams in the 15th by a combined 24 pts, can RC be declared the 15th Region champ? lol

I appreciate your loyalty, but PCC just doesn't play much outside the 15th Region...look at Rowan's schedule...it doesn't even compare. Wins over teams like Scott County and Mason County and a near victory over Sacred Heart, all outside the 16th. Then, to have easily handled East Carter, Russell, Elliott County, Raceland - all contenders inside the region. I do think Rowan would've coasted on any other court. A 9-point win on PCC's home court is like an 18-25 point win elsewhere.

If I were getting ready for a tournament in the middle of MARCH, I am not sure I would count so much on a game that was played in November and be braggin on my strength of schedule RC has 9 games left and 4 have a losing season record and 1 is 9-9 that leaves 4 teams (2 of which will beat you badly) (maybe you can pull out a near win) that even have a winning record. Now that is a great schedule going into March but hey, you beat Scott Co in November and PC on their worst night. WAY TO GO. Btw, before you start on PC's schedule, I wasn't the one that was bragging on PC's schedule you guys were the one saying how "tough" RC's schedule is. We may not have played Mason but odds are we won't, they won't even win their region, we beat the best team in their region. You will get ROCKED by Montgomery. Speaking of the refs, where were those 15th region refs against RC, oh they called the game just like they did against MC? I heard that you ALWAYS get homered in the 15? Oh, brother...

Hostility.....It was a great victory for the coach. He jumped up and down as he always does at the end of the game after a win. The student section started saying nasty things to him and he blew them a kiss....he was just killing them with kindness after being cursed at and insulted. The PCC student section made fun of the RC fans for the way they cheered, talked nasty to the players and had very inappropriate phrases painted on their backs. So maybe the game film needs sent to the PCC BOE. BTW I WAS AT THE GAME!!!!

 

I WAS AT THE GAME TOO and saw and heard none of your accusations. No one was near either player or coach, with the expection of throwing the ball in and the official was right beside them. But your statement "killing with kindness" baffles me? Yes, I am sure that was his intent. I do remember the student section telling one of your zealous fans to keep her shirt down and yes they did laugh. If that embarassed you it should have and ss far as viewing the film, that will be easy to do it is aired locally on WPRG.

I am not an official, but there was one sitting behind me. By the way, the Rowan County Board of Ed was sitting at the scores table...pretty sure he saw everything.

 

Uhmmmmm, Wouldn't it be kinda hard to fit the BOE behind the scorers table. Well, if Board saw everything I am sure that they would agree that an anger management class might be inorder. Because some village was missing someone that night. Call it whatever but it was anything but a class act.

Yes, I agree it this has gone far enough. I also agree that both teams have worked very hard and I am not trying to discredit either team. This was never the issue. I am sorry that I had to stoop to such a level, but the truth will set you free everytime.
