Top
I've had my eye on Michael Campbell on the football field since he was in the 7th grade, and this kid can play. I've talked to a lot of people around Perry and surrounding county's and they seem to think Campbell is a D-1 football player. This kid is 6'4, 235 lbs, and as fast as they come. I see this kid playing D-1 football somewhere. He is that big and plays Wide-Receiver and safety, also line-backer. Next season he will be back for his senior year. What does everyone think about this kid?
Neers 44
Haven't seen this kid a lot, but have watched him on the football field as well as the hardcourt, no denying he's an athlete, and a brute, my only question is how well does he keep his head? Haven't seen him since he was a freshman I believe, and he had trouble with this in both sports.
Son of Bear
I saw him play last year and he has the physical tools to be a stud.....Mark Dixon needs to give him more touches.
Eaglenation
The kids a beast. He could be an outstanding LB in college. Big, strong and fast. I would for sure give him more touches. Wonder what his grades and test score are like? Don't matter how fast or how big without those grades and test score. :thumb:
divadawg
Michael is an accomplished athlete in both football and basketball and we are fortunate to have him representing our school. At one point Michael had some anger management issues, but with the help of Coaches Dixon and Holland, Michael has made a remarkable improvement on that front, as well. It seems this year he has totally changed his attitude and has displayed periods where he acts more as a peace keeper than an instigator. Michael seems to hold his own in the grade department, as well. Hazard works hard with their students by providing tutors in all subjects as needed and apparently this is a big help to our student athletes as well as the general school population. I would love to see Michael further his career by going on to college and making an impact at that level! Go Dawgs!
refinstripes
A ton of talent, I have had his games in the past and is a dominator on the turf. His attitude has changed a lot since he has gotten older. He is a major D1 prospect.....
youknowme
"As fast as they come" is bit of an over statement. From what I have seen, he has a bad attitude but is a good athlete & can bang down inside. As for the football field, "Major D1 prospect" is a HUGE over statement. The kid can play at USC, Ohio St, Florida, or even Kentucky? I think not...
