ATown Pride Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Final... Bishop Brossart advances to Wendsday matchup against St. Patrick @ Paris
CountryBoy7 Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Tough Loss for Augusta, but not surprised here though Brossart has been playing very well as of late and Augusta is rebuilding among getting use to a new coach. Good things will happen for Augusta, just going to take some time.

They lost to a quality team tonight but play hard from start to finsh. Good job girls.
Big Daddy Bear Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 I know coaches hate moral victories but in this case...Augusta played a very good team tonight and represented theirselves well. My understanding is that the lady panthers only dressed eight tonight. To say they were outmanned would be an understatement. Congrats to Brossart.
trainride Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 The Panthers worked hard. They had a guard that was a nice player. Maybe # 21? It was my first trip to the school. I really loved the old school gym. We like the 10th region teams, nice small towns.
TubbyCAT Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Augusta's gym is as nice as any around if you take out the size. For the size of the gym it may be as nice as there is in the state.

My favorite gym to coach in. I felt I was Gene Hackman and we were running the picket fence everytime we played in that gym. Also, enjoyed my opposing coach yelling at the officials.:sssh::lol::cool:

Bracken vs. Augusta, boys or girls, is a treat to watch in A-Town.
ladiesbballcoach Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 BTW, I am picking BB to win the region for ALL A.
