So how many basketball players who start for their High School team also are great students in the classroom? Now I am just not talking getting good grades, but how many are National Merit Scholars?

 

Covington Catholic High School senior Aaron Noll has been named semi-finalist in the National Merit Scholarship competition.

 

Of the 1.4 million students who took the PSAT assessment, Aaron is among the 16,000 top-scoring students in critical reading, math and writing skills.

 

So who else starts for their team, and also stars in the classroom where it really matters in life?

Aaron would be the 3rd Noll boy to earn such loft academic status. Add in the Awadalla is a cousin and there's something in those genes.
