Great game for Shelby Valley, they move to 5-0 on the year and I believe Male falls to 4-1.

Anyone have any details?

The radio announcers said it was the best game in December they had seen in a while. Nip and tuck the whole game. I know there was about 5 lead changes in the final couple of minutes. Male had the ball last with 9 seconds and a foul was called with 1.1 seconds left. The announcers didnt like the call but they were probably leaning toward Valley. The Male player and I cant remember his name missed both and Valley comes away with the win. :thumb:

The game could have gone either way. Shelby Valley led the entire 1st half, and most of the second. The player that missed the free throws was Heyman. SV had no answer for him underneath the basket. The pressure of SV's guards really controlled the game.

This is probably the biggest name school that Shelby Valley has ever defeated. So just wondering... how does this Male team compare to the better teams around the state?

This is not a great team for Male this year by there standards. They don't have much height,They do have the wide body in Heyman but they wont win there region this year.I watched this game and it was a good game back and forth,Male had a chance to won with 1.4 secs left and Heyman missed both freethrows.

Maybe in the 20-25 ranking range. No higher than that.

Expo was awesome place just remarkable. The classic had a lot of good teams there. The new Hampton i stayed was truly amazing,The only thing i didn't like was Chiricos,I thought it was very average at best for Italian.I enjoyed my stay in the mountains.

Sorry you didn't like Chiricos...It was either that or Pikeville's other fine Italtian establishments...GattiTown and Pizza Hut.

I didn't know the new Hampton Inn downtown was open...it looks very nice.

Glad you enjoyed the Expo..The Pikeville area is lucky to have such a nice venue.
