CovCath and Conner tied at the end of the first quarter 10-10 then CovCath went ahead by 10 at the half. In the second half CovCath pulled away from Conner. CovCath shot 50% from the field but were out rebounded (out hustled if you ask me). Maile went out with a sore back early in the third quarter. Really CovCath didn't play as good as they did against Mason County or LexCath, and it showed early in the game. CovCath did play a lot of players tonight. Not a good game at all by the Colonels, but a win is a win, and at no point in the game did you think that Conner was really going to win it.....

 

One comment about the game: If the Conner Football team played as physical as the basketball did tonight, then the Conner Football team would have won a few more games this season.....

A little surprised at the margin, I thought Conner was a little stronger than that; or is CCH just better than some thought?? Congrats to the Colonels on a quality win--I think they are the 9th region favorite right now.

Thats not good to hear. Hope he'll be ok by the next game, he's a great athlete.

I'm not surprised by the margin. CovCath is much better than Conner. Conner might be a little overrated this year.

To add to that, CovCath IS that good.
