Final.

Trimble still winless for the year. Tough loss on your home floor.

Both Miller and Stewart got in early foul trouble (3 each in first quarter). The Lady Raiders were down by as much as 16 points, battled back to take the lead in the 4th, but could not get timely defensive stops. Both Miller and Stewart would foul out.

The Lady Raiders were down by three with about 16 seconds left. They miss a three, Romans rebounds and puts up the two, hoping to get fouled. Basket is good, but there is no foul....

Sorry for the "present tense" of the game. I am tired.

TC keep working hard! So many close ones, your time will come!

Congrats Walton.

Good win for Walton! Trimble is well coached and tough to beat at home.

Thought Miller would have more than 5 pts.

she sat out most the 2cnd and 3rd qtr with foul trouble

Miller played about five minutes total tonight. During that time, she had 4 blocked shots, 5 points and 4 rebounds...and five fouls.

Well she was productive when she was in the Game!

Sounds like a tightly called game.

that was a tough break for Trimble, she's a good player-would have made the difference in the game.

Not evenly called, let's say. Miller would have had a heck of a game, had she not gotten called for fouls.

That being said, the Lady Raiders made most of their comeback without her.

Agreed! Good win for WV. They fought hard, were down and came back at the end and pulled it through. WV gave up a big lead, and Trimble never quit. Both teams will only get better!

Congrats to both teams on an intense game. Trimble just can't seem to catch a break this season. For them to make a game out of it without Miller and Stewart playing a lot of minutes, says a lot for their team. Walton Verona has played a tough schedule like Trimble in the early season. Things don't get much better because I think they have Oldham up next.
