According to the Ashland Daily Independent, Morgan struggled early in the game as the Lady Lions burst out to a 14-6 lead after one quarter. But they came back to lead 26-25 at the break. The scoring for this game are as follows: Morgan County A. Dulan-25 K. Dulan-8 Fugate-8 Eagle-7 Slone-7 Stamper-4 Williams-2 Elliott County Griffith-17 K. Ferguson-16 S. Ferguson- 9 Ison-5 Fannin-5 Adkins-2 Both teams will participate in the EKC today at West Carter. Morgan County plays Bath at 2:15 p.m. followed by Elliott and Raceland at 4:30.
Nets Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Lady Cougars were down 17-6 at one point. They grabbed their 1st lead when 8th grader Brittany Stamper hit a basket with :01 before the half. Dulen was shooting bombs and although Kayla Kelly didn't score, she had 13 rebounds. Lady Cougars got a big lift from two 8th graders Faith Slone and Brittany Stamper.
