Bath Co. 79 and Paris 43. Bath Co. looked real good in this scrimmage. The first half man to man defense was great. Bath held Paris to 3 first half field goals. the score was 38 to 12 at halftime. Paris has some really good athletes, but Bath co. defense really kept them on their heals the whole game. Metz did not play for bath. he still has a foot injury.

Don't look to much into this victory. Paris, will struggle all year long! They lost eight seniors last year and 95% of their offense.:thumb: Please, do not let this be a measuring stick for the Wildcats!

We need to start a new thread up and see what people think. You now the good and bad and the pros and cons!

Why would they? What is going to be the benefit of combining these schools other than sports. I am a huge sports fan, but there are more than sports to look at. If I am not mistaken Paris is top 20 High School in the state in terms of test scores (if they are not in the top 20 they are close). They are way too many people that have a strong passion for Paris.

 

I have said this on here before, I have never heard anybody that has ties with the Paris system talk about combining. Whenver talk of combining comes up, it is always somebody from the Bourbon side mentioning that the 2 schools need to combine.

 

As far as basketball goes. Paris has the athletes to compete. The kids are not being "pushed" the way they need to be.

Trust me, unlike past years, this Paris team doesn't have the athletes! I really don't care who coaches them, this team will not be that good. Just being honest.
