Prestonsburg 33-6.

P'burg by a bunch......The Blackcats can run the ball all night w/ Craynon and Setser & more. This will be a good game for Burchett(QB) to get his 1st playoff start, get him settled in for bigger battles down the road.

The P'burg "D" led by Stephens,Blevins,Gearheart and more should control the Cougers as they did in the regular season match-up.

The Morgan Co. Vs. Prestonsburg game used to be a great rivlary, especially in the 80's.

Most memorable games between these two schools:

1) 1983 Sorghum Bowl--Prestonsburg won by a touchdown in a classic and largest crowd to ever cram and witness a game in West Liberty. The winner went to the playoffs in the 3 team district (Prestonsburg, Lawrence County, Morgan County) Only 1 went

2) 1991 at Morgan Co--Prestonsburg 29 Morgan County 22. The current Assistant Coach for Prestonsburg James DeRossett I believe caught a pass across the middle and scampered the rest of the way to the endzone inside 1 minute left to play for the win. Morgan had a 10 minute drive in the fourth quarter, capped off by TB Derrick Finch's 1 yard plunge to put the Cougars up 22-21. P'burg QB may have been Aaron Tucker hit DeRossett for the winning score.

3) 1987?? Morgan County beats Prestonsburg at Prestrosburg in Triple Overtime. Game was televised on WYMT-TV.

I also think head Coach John DeRossett was FB/LB on the 1983 team that played that epic battle in West Liberty.
