What a sad story for this young man who had a bright future ahead of him and now only an uncertain next few months lie ahead for this young man. Question is now what will Scott County do as far as A) letting him back into school, and B) what kind of punishment lies ahead for him on the basketball team...suspension...kicked off...nothing?

My opinion you have to set a strong example for the other players and kids in school by not letting him back on the team. I know he is their best player and a top contender for MR. Basketball...but you can not say that just because he is those things that you only give him a slap on the wrist. So we will see what wins out...doing the right thing for your program for not only this year but for years to come or winning on the court this season...will be interesting.

On a side note...I hope that Mackey can use this as a learning tool and gets his life straightened out !

Sorry...didn't see the other thread
