For the team standings I am predicting like this:

 

Girls

1) Highlands

2) Mason Co

3) LLoyd

4) Pent co

 

Boys

 

1) Pent Co

2) Highlands

3) Mason Co

4) Russell

 

With Rowan Co and Lloyd in the mix

 

 

AND GO ROYALS!

I don't know if buth squads were at full strength this past weekend at Russell, but it may have been the first time that Mason County (girls) have ever beaten Lloyd in an XC meet. Both teams tied with 30, scoring went to the 6th place finisher of both teams. Congrats to the young Runnin' Royals!

Mason Co girls and LLoyd were both at full strength. Mason Co girls are very young and talented. Oldest members are juniors.

 

Mason Co boys are very good. Better than the 03' team that made it to state. Rowan Boys where missing one runner, but it wont have mattered. Lloyd where missing one runner, but it wont have mattered .

I think in Lloyd's case it would have mattered, when your number one runner is out, that hurts. Anyhow, congrats to Mason County :thumb:

are u talking about the boys team? Well if Landrum had of run it wont have mattered Mason Co boys still would have won big. :thumb:

MC girls are now ranked 6th in 2A; highest ranking in team history. Congratulations!!

This may be another first for the Mason County girls - placing ahead of both Lloyd and Highlands at the big LexCath meet. Nice progress with regionals approaching soon.

Yeah Mason Girls team ran REALLY GREAT at Lex Cath..but they remain 6th in the 2A girls poll. Highlands is 5th..I really dont know how. Because Mason Co girls beat them by about 100.
