Two issues that make rankings hard in high school football. First many districts are dominated by one team so the scores are lopsided and are not a true indication of a teams ability against other teams in the state and second rankings are within your own class but schedules include games in other classes. Each person has to decide is more important to lose by a touchdown to a team a class or two higher than you or beat a weak team in your own class by 60. Everyone has their own opinion.
