Daviess will have a tough time defending Russellville.

Where would you rank Russellville if they were in the old Class 1A macdon?

Right above or right below Mayfield.

 

They have a DE/LB that is a D1 prospect. The RB is limited only because he is 160 lbs. They have a fullback that is an absolute load and a QB that can outrun a deer.

 

They will find who they are for sure at mid-season when Danville visits Rhea Stadium. FS was without their starting QB last week...that made some difference in that game.

 

I expect Russellville and Tilghman to emerge as the 3A strength in the west.

Can Russellville really beat a 6A team (as honestly a 1A school)?

 

I know there are a few (see Beechwood) who can, but this would be an impressive feat IMO.
