The Maroons start off their season in a big way at the Browning Chevrolet Bowl held at Hopkins County Central.

Early indications are that Madisonville will be in the thick of their district race.

Actually the score was 53-7. Madisonville's jv and freshman played from midway through the 3rd quarter on. The games get tougher now with a much improved county rival Hopkins Central coming in this week followed by a road trip to district opponent Apollo. Henderson just may be the weakest team right now in the district but should make major improvements as the season progresses. There are no pushovers for anyone inside this district this year which should make for a very exciting race.
