firstregionking
Sounds like the new spread offense worked out well for the Patriots in their first game of the year against Crittenden County.

westsider
Word is that Jeramie Sorina, Crittenden's talented tailback, missed the game because of a suspension and may be out for a few weeks. Massac has had high expectations for this senior class after they made the state playoffs two years ago with a team that started a lot of sophomores. 00Rocket28
Worse loss in 37 years! Massac left there starters in the entire game. Pretty classless

just 4 fun
Massac had some impressive athletes...On one play a Crittenden pass got batted up in the air and a Massac lineman, picked it off and ran it back about 50-60 yds and left the RBs behind...That kid was listed at 6'1 265..He should get some serious looks from the college ranks...Massac only dressed like 30 kids, which isn't many for a 3a team, but, they were all solid players.. As for Crittenden, it could be a long year unless they learn to tackle a whole lot better...There offfense actually moved the ball pretty decently from the 20 to the 20 but would either turn it over on turnovers or fall a little short on some 4th down plays... I'm sure they'll get better, but, like I said, there defense is really going to have to learn to wrap up and they need to get themselves in playing shape, as it seemed they were really worn down in the 2nd half... By the way, Massac did play there 2nd team the majority of the 2nd half, they just didn't have a whole lot of kids to go much deeper than that..
