Heard from a co-worker that has a little inside source. He is saying that he is hearing about some tension rising among the East players over some recent articles in the newspapers. Anyone hear this ?

This is the only article that I have seen on East Carter. I thought is was a nice article on the program. The only thing that I could see would be some players/parents getting mad over who was or was not mentioned. I thought it was a nice read.

Probably a daddy who is upset because only the TOP players were mentioned and junior didn't get his picture in the paper or name in the print. There are always those who are jealous because their kid isn't the quarterback, shortstop, or point guard. It is a part of sports, certain kids standout and get most of the attention, it may not be fair, but it is a reflection of today's landscape in sports.

Well its bout time to get this season underway. I'd like to wish you Boyd County players and fans a safe trip over here to the East Carter field. I'm lookin forward to a good matchup tonite! Of course I'll be rootin for my Raiders on the sidelines. I'm glad for both teams that the powers that be decided to move the kick-off back an hour. See ya at the game. Go Raiders!!!
