The Bell Co. baseball field is under some type of construction, I was in Middlesboro on Thursday and seen all types of equipment on the field, can someone tell us what's going on. Coach Ledington must have hit the ground running on the facilities.

From What I hear TECO coal is donating all the grade work, and they are buildign new stands and concession and rest room facilities. I think is great, Bell has needed the upgrade for some time.

From what I understand this process was started prior to the arrival of Coach Ledington, it was actually part of the package which brough Coach Greer back to Bell Co a couple of years ago.

Bell definitly needed an upgrade. The baseball program is something that does not need to be as bad as it has been. I think Greer did a great job getting it going again. I hope Coach Ledington can really get it top notch. Ive heard great things about him.

Now if they can take the barbed wire off parts of the fence then that would be even better.

It was off in the region

Are they putting in a new grass surface or are they going with an synthetic surface?

Glad to hear this. Actually Bell co has good facilities except for the field and a concession stand. Maybe this will light a fire under the school to the south of Bell co to upgrade their field. They need it desperately.

Whats wrong with the field the outfield should be in good shape?:thumb:

when finished, about 195,000 completed infield and out field, press box and concession, ticket both and men and women restroom.

Sounds pretty nice.

If Coach Ledington paid attention to Coach Garmon it won't be long until they have a great playing surface. Coach Ledington misses nothing so expect that to happen soon.
