2007/2008 Boone Co

Recommended Posts

What does Boone Co. need to do to improve in 2007/2008? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

With the talent coming up, they should be improved no matter what. They lost 7 seniors but have 4 very talented sophomores who will see lots of playing time and junior Stephen McFarland coming back. These kids have played against the top AAU teams in the nation over the last few years, and 2 of the sophs saw significant varsity action as freshman.

IMO, Boone needs to push the ball up the floor and get lots of transition baskets.

Wildcatfan you seem to be close to the program, I totally agree that when you have a core of kids that have played against National competetition it gives the kids huge advantages over other teams that may have 1 player at best who is playing in AAU leagues. I think it should be fun to track this team over the next couple years as I see them taking the 9th Region crown either this or next season.

Agree that it should be interesting/fun to watch. I think they have an outside chance at the ninth region title this year but a great chance next year, and a pretty good one the year after that too.

Lots of youg talent at Boone and like their opportunity to make a run at Ninth Region Title for next two years.

Guard play should be outstanding and I think the only weakness might be frontcourt depth.
