Hearing that Fox Sports may be interested in televising an NKY high school match-up on a Thursday night from one of the "new" stadiums in NKY.

Hope it happens.

I know of one school that would be ruled out(for 2 reasons).

Because it would be on a Thursday night(no lights at Cov. Cath.), and it would be against Highlands?

While I've never seen the actual reports, I've heard that bingo contributions hit close to or above 6 figures annually. There will be NO games if it interferes with Bingo. That's why the FROSH play home games on Wednesday.

Actually I have heard it was for the Beechwood game. Natural rival, and the first game of CovCath new Head Football Coach Brossart against his old school. That's from what I have heard is why the request for the lights to the city of Park Hills is for. Might be wrong but that is what I have heard.....Have you heard anything different cshs81?

I also have heard from at least one property owner who lives next door to CovCath. His concern isn't Friday night Football under the lights, but every night soccer, and CovCath letting others use the field under the lights year round. He stated if it were just for CovCath football, and if they would turn the sound system toward Dixie Highway, he wouldn't care at all..... Of course that is just one guy but......

I know of one school that would be ruled out(for 2 reasons).

I thought I gave away a big clue with the Thursday night.

It's the Boone Co at Dixie game on Thursday, Oct. 11 that Fox Sports is interested in.
