I totally buy into Scott County's decision.

 

I watched two episodes of the Two-A-Days with Hoover football and it was exactly what you would expect from MTV. It's an idea that had potential but there were all of about 2 minutes of football shown and all the rest was just high school drama type stuff. It was horrible. A complete waste of time.

 

I couldn't expect that a basketball version would have been any better.

Coach Hicks told me last year when this came up that the locker room was sacred. Nobody but coaches and team members were coming in the SC locker room during pregame, team meetings, and half time.

 

The MTV crew would have probably tried to create a controversy where none existed.

No one would have beaten Sc last year with or without MTV, but this year it's a whole different story.
