A question concerning NCLB

Featured Replies

I agree. Its a waste of time to force kids who have no desire to go to college to a)take the test and b)use it as a measure. If I'm one of those kids, I have no intent on giving any effort. Why would I? I'm not going to college.

The ACT is a way to determine if kids are ready for certain colleges. Period.

Whatever it is, it is now a test that every kid has to take, (any guess who is going to be picking up the cost of the test for those students now required to take it but no funds to pay for it and I bet it will be unfunded) and will be used to fit some politicians whim that it is a great way to compare schools and see how you are doing.
