South scores 1 in the top of the first and the Lady Jags score SEVEN in the bottom of the inning.

Good win for North and South will rebound.

Neither team loses a player for next season.

North loses Pate Williams, the only senior on this year's squad. But Weaver has a TON of young talent waiting in the wings.

When I left the girls game and NL was up 7-1, ... I knew it was over. You can't spot Abby Sears 6 runs and reasonably try to overcome that. She is too clutch.

Hats off to the Lady Cards. They had a MONSTER season and will be loaded again in 2008!

Great job Abby Sears and North Laurel, finally making it past South Laurel to the state.

Great job Abby Sears and North Laurel, finally making it past South Laurel to the state.

North has won state before, been runner up, final 4, etc. The past few years, South Laurel had their number come tournament time.

Congratulations to NL; the Cards will have something to shoot for next year! (Gotta play both sides on this one ... )
