I'm biased BUT I think Trinity got a great draw.

 

The bottom half of this bracket is tough. Ballard will have to use Dethrage in their 2nd game which could hurt them for the championship. X and Eastern could be interesting but does either X or Eastern have pitching for 3 tough games?

 

Now that the draw is over has your opinion changed about the winner?

I can't speak for Eastern; but St. X has Damon McCormmick, Justin Amlung, Kyle Just, Patrick McDonald, Ryan Mosby and Cory Boughy. Than when you throw in Nate Grayson and Brent Sweeney, you end up with a pretty good rotation of pitchers. If they get real thin they can throw Ben Zoeller and Cal Scheler.

No doubt Trinity got the best draw. Trinity should be able to save their better pitchers for game three, providing they get there. I look for a Ballard vs Trinity game three with Trinity winning.

Trinity beat Fern Creek in an 11 a.m. game at U of L's Patterson Stadium today, 6-3. Christian Academy is playing Male in the 1 p.m. game.
