May 25, 200719 yr With all of these esteem and highly intelligent people voting for Ross, HOW DID HE NOT GET ELECTED?????????????????????? I am blaming a young Karl Rove.
May 25, 200719 yr Being a business man, I've always had a soft spot in my heart for good old-fashioned charts and graphs. I loved the way Perot used to show up for debates/speeches with all those lovely charts and graphs. :D Me too! Although, back then I was just a fledgeling. I did and still do admire his "business" approach to running the country. I think that's what it should be...business. Politics should be second to plain, commonsense business approaches. If businesses in America were run the way of the governenment, we wouldn't be a very successful country, IMO. The only reason why I can think you would be shocked was that you thought we mindlessly voted Republican each year. Cause I know you wouldn't think we supported Clinton. In the election before last for representative, I voted Independent teacher from Oldham County instead of Clooney/Davis. I'm not shocked you didn't vote party-line. I've debated you guys for years, and I know better than that. I'm shocked you voted Perot. Considering the lack of respect he's gotten over time, including when he was running, I guess I made an assumption that the demographic would be reflected here on BGP. Have any of you read Irreconcilable Differences: Ross Perot versus General Motors? Great stuff, and you should if you haven't.
