Woodford made a game of it in the 6th inning after scoring 3 runs and bases loaded with one out but gets shut down. Western Hills will face Franklin County tommorrow night which shapes up to be a nice game between crosstown rivals.

I'd take County in 5, but that is what I thought about Woodford tonight. Should be a great one to watch...hopefully High will have the scoreboard fixed by then.

I think Woodford is the only team in the District that could have beaten Franklin County.

Yea Franklin County played good against us in game one and they should knock off Hills, but in seven innings. Both these teams will more then likely lose in the first two rounds of the regional tournament. It is too hard of a region, but I think Franklin County can win some regions like the 1st for example.

Apparently you have'nt seen some of the wins Franklin County already has. They could easily win a first round game in the 11th region as long as it is'nt a matchup against Lexington Catholic or Dunbar. If they don't see them untill later on, then they could possibly make a run in their region.

Most of their quality wins came before the turmoil and distractions. They will have to play Lex Cath or Dunbar in the 2nd round unless their is a major upset, so don't look for them to make it to the finals of the 11th region.
