According to the Tates Creek baseball website, they are the #3 seed (I haven't seen anything official yet, but no reason not to believe them).

 

That would mean that LCA v. Lafayette is the first game, Dunbar v. Tates Creek will be the second game, and the winner of game one will play Catholic.

While this has been somewhat of a down season for Lafayette, I wouldn't necessarily leave them out of that list. As I have said ad nauseum around here, Lafayette is 18-3 outside of the 43d district, 0-8 inside it. All 5 teams are ranked in the top 25 as of this week, and I don't know any other district in the state that can say that. The reality is that after the 43d district tournament, 3 of the top 25 teams in the state will be eliminated.

Bo who :cry: , lol no im just kidding i would put this district against just about anyone. I would like to see the talent on that all district team.

It will definitely be interesting to see. There are a lot of seniors in that district that will be playing college ball next year. There were at least 7 that signed early D1, and there are more that have committed since then.

This is the toughest district in the state and I don't have the slightest idea of who to pick in this district. Catholic is the favorites but they easily could go out in their first game to LCA or Lafayette. Where is the district being held?

I believe the games are at Dunbar.

 

And, before people scoff at the idea of Catholic losing in the district, remember that the last two state champs from the 43d were knocked off in the district the next year. The year after Dunbar won the title, they lost to Bryan Station in the district (that was the old version of the 43d) and last year, LCA lost to Dunbar. The year after Lafayette was the state runner-up, they made it out of the district but lost in the first game of the regional.
