Three years ago, when Heath won the first All A Classic, the semifinals and finals were rained out on Sunday. The semifinals were played during the week and the championship game was played on the next Sunday, after the Legends' game was completed.

Just curious about the three game rule? At the LIT tourney, I watched a game that started at 10:30pm but did not finish until around 1:30am, then both teams proceeded to play two more games on Saturday. That's three games in less than 24 hours.

 

In most baseball tourney's that I have watched, the first games are on Friday night, then they play two more games on Saturday, thats three game usually in less than 24 hours.

 

So my question is; what the difference in playing three games in one day, and three games in less than 24 hours?

Can somebody tell me where to fine the 3 game rule? I have never heard of it
