I've used several Wooden Bats styles, during open cage, practice and BP. Which kind have you found to be most durable, best pop and affordable.

 

Any ideas, on where to purchase at an reasonable price, in bulk or individually. Considering several options and utilizing them, during the summer also. I would also consider, mis-stamped since nothing is technically wrong, other than aesthetics.

 

A good friend of mine and BGP, mentioned about having a summer league, using wooden bats. Just want to explore the idea and get some feedback.

Wood bat league over the Summer is a great idea.

 

My boys have used Easton, Rawlings, and Mizuno. And the Easton bat seems to have more pop to it. It's kind of expensive, $79, but a good bat. If you are looking for a company that sells in bulk and has a good reputation, Gone Batty is a good deal. Never used any of the bats, but I have heard a lot of good feedback from cusomers. Most of their bats are $29-39 or for the maple bats, $89. If you buy in bulk, they will give a discount.

I've seen a couple of Rawlings, being used.

I was at an American Legion Tournament this summer in Somerset ( Ricky Bussell Memorial Tournament) and there was a company there that had wooden bats on display. In fact they were promoting a Wooden Bat Tournament to be held later on in the summer. I will try to find out the name of that company this weekend and will post it Monday
