Raceland's pitchers are walking a lot of hitters this season. Hope they fix it before districts.

 

That will definitly light a fire under 'Hoof. I can still see him getting mad, pulling the bill of his hat down over his eyes and going into the little utility room at the end of the first base dugout and hearing things being knocked around while he is talking/yelling to himself.

 

Hoof is greatest.....To this day I would still run through a wall for him.

Speaking of "DIP"....I recall a buddy of mine found a DIP street sign and put it in Hoofy's front yard.

 

One of my personal faves was the "Mudhole". We'd have a couple game stretch where we wouldn't play too well and we'd get the "I'll challenge any of you in the Mudhole....I don't care if your 18 or not!" speech.
