Highlands beat Lloyd for the 3rd time this season. Great outing by Greg Popvich on the mound for the Birds. He went 5 1/3 innings with Shields and Rawlings coming in for relief. Offensively the Birds were led by Rawlings HR and 3 RBI's, and Muench was 3-4 with HR and 2 RBI's. Caleb Downey of Lloyd had a 2B and HR. The Birds face Campbell County tomorrow at 5:00PM at Highland Park.

What about Pat Allen's play? He is always in the box scores and probably one of the most dedicated of the bunch. Overall they seem to be playing well, Districts should be interesting.
