Camels drop a wild one to the state's fourth ranked team 12-10 at Lexington Christian. The Camels put up three in the first and LCA came back with four of their own in their half of the first. Mike Sandlin hit a grand slam for the Camels in the second and LCA added one in their half to make the score 7-5 Camels after two. The Eagles score three in the third to take an 8-7 lead. Camels tie it in the top of the fourth and LCA scored four in the bottom to take a 12-8 lead. One in the sixth for the Camels and one in the seventh makes it a 12-10 final. Camels had two on when the final out was made. Austin Studer had three hits for the Camels, Jordan Franzen two and Sandlin added the slam. Chris Harrison and John Roetting pitch for the Camels. The Camels had a big game against LCA. Harrison was the starting pitcher for the Camels, he has been hurt for a good portion of the spring, a badly sprained ankle and then a hand injury, so he is not on his game just yet, but he will get there and Roetting had a little trouble finding the plate as well. The hitting for the Camels was good. Camels gave LCA all they wanted and with a little more pitching, well I think the Camels are going to surprise a lot of people
