Theoldguy
NDA made a statement tonight that this team is not going to falter during the tournament this year..... Unlike what ICN6 had on it's cable scoreboard, NDA other then in the first couple of seconds of the first quarter never trailed in this game. They lead by 10 at the end of the first quarter and by 15 at half time. Holmes had a small run in the third quarter and at one point got the NDA lead down to just 8/9 points, but then Dickman and Dress along with Tierney took back over the game and basically said not this year.... Dickman led all scorers with 18 points, Tierney and Jackson each had 13 and Drees had 8, with a ton of assists. Weaver had 15 for Holmes. NDA totally controlled the boards as well as playing a very tough "D" tonight. Coach Darpel will be leaving the team later tonight to have her baby, but she is leaving her girls with her 200th victory tonight. Cograts on your 200th victory, but more importantly best wishes and our prayers will be with you over the next 24/48 hours for you and your new son..... Good luck to Dad too..... The 35th District All Tournament team is as follows: Sorry if I misspelled a name..... Beechwood: DeAngelis Cov Holy Cross: Beibbens Cov Holmes: Weaver Cov Holmes: Brittany Webb NDA: Tierney NDA: Drees NDA: Dickman Most valuable player of the 35th Tournament, Nicole Dickman...... The Ninth Region draw will be held on Saturday.......

What has happened to Boone, they may come back and win the region, but they certainly seem to be staggering home right now. Any thoughts?
Theoldguy
Was really nice of Coach Listerman, to say congrats to the NDA Pandas for beating Holmes and moving on to the Ninth Region on his CovCath pregame show. He also sent out congratulations to Coach Drapel on her 200th victory.... Thanks Coach L for thinking about the girls from across the CovCath Highway.... That's not a good draw for either team.
