Jim Schue, do you rememberr last year when RB got a big lead in the first quarter on NL, Conway took his starting 5 out for almost the whole 2nd quarter. The 2nd 5 caught RB and took the lead at the half.

 

Yup — I think the starters this time around got it in their heads that RB would just fade down the stretch from fatigue like last year. Looks like Coach Wilson's boys did some extra running this year!

I think you are correct, with them Red Bird would have been in the state tournment IMO, that would have been an awsome story. John D. Wilson gets more out of less than anyone I know. A real setback for North.

It could. NL, Jackson Co, and Clay Co should all be better next year.

Guys let me tell you by experience...It was an amazing game to be at...I thought North was going to run all over Red Bird..

 

Number 44 for Red Bird is a senior and I beleive his last name is Hoskins..

 

The calls on Shannon were legit. After they called a call on Davis in the first for pushing off, they had to call that foul on Shannon, the second, Berry is just tough getting to the basket.

 

North should of won this game, they had the Cardinals down, and judging by the reoccuring theme of the whole season...Red Bird would have folded if a three or one more basket would of fallen for the Jags.

 

Now this Magical Red Bird squad goes on to play Clay in the district finals...Good luck Tigers..Good luck Red Bird.

Also, anyone know who number 11 is for Red Bird? He really shut that Shannon kid down.

Oh, while I'm thinking about it, special thanks to the clown sheriff's deputy who decided to make it difficult for me to do my job. I like how I can sit on the floor at Rupp Arena or Freedom Hall and take photos, but somehow it's a "problem" at Clay County. :madman:
