Dixie has played the better schedule but was over-matched early on with that schedule. They have been playing much better as the regular season came to a close.

 

Ludlow has been up and down against some of its better competition (Lloyd, Villa, Dixie, Bellevue) but is certainly capable of winning this one.

 

District championships IMO really don't matter (don't argue unless you want to win the district and be bounced in the first round of the region over losing in the district final and winning in the first round of the region) but I think it matters to Ludlow so I'm taking them by a slim margin.

 

See I dont really get that comment, by saying they are capable of winning this one. Because of course they are capable of winning because they already did beat them, and shut down their best player. So I just pointing that out because it didn't make much sense to me, since Ludlow did already beat them, so of coarse they are capable of beating them...

 

However Dixie did win tonight, and instead of Ludlow shuttin down Dixies best player like last time. Dixie returned the favor and shut down Ludlow offense tonight and held Ludlow to their lowest scoring output of the year by far. I dont know the exact score, so that is why I have posted it yet...

That really dont make much sense saying you take a team because of there strength of schedule, when there strength of schedule didn't help them in the first game when they lost by double digits...However you are right though Dixie did win tonight and they won pretty convincly like Ludlow did in the first game, but I dont know the exact score so I haven't posted it yet...

 

I wasn't knocking them in any way. What Imeant was that Dixie's 10-14 record was not indicative of what they are capable of due to the caliber teams they've played against. I think the first time they played Ludlow, they looked right past them and Ludlow got them. Tonight, Dixie looked ready to play, especially Katie Mayes. Very impressive. Good luck to both teams in the 9th.
