High School Basketball is all about matchups.

Henry Clay has a hard time playing against sagging man and zone defenses because their strength is athleticism and getting to the basket. When you take away driving lanes and deny the ball to Moses in the post, then HC struggles. When teams like trinity play them straight up, then they get to play to their strengths and athleticism. When teams like Lee and Estill play zone and sagging man and force them to beat you from the outside, then the complexion of the games change and less athletically talented players can compete with athletically superior players.

He hit the three at the buzzer to beat Lee. Lee will need that kind of effort to compete in the district and if they can make the region.

Taking nothing away from Lee County. Didn't see the game but it is always impressive for a mountain school to compete with the superior atleticism of the Lexington schools. Lee County is a good team, congratulations and good luck in districts.

Lee also had to deal with some foul trouble . That Moses kid is a STUD
