Who will be the best hitter in the 14th region this year.

Don't know about the "best" but Leslie will have a couple who can hit for power & average.

Timmy Baker is a very solid hitter the Wells kid he has never really hurt us any but Baker really good hitter. Does the Hendrix boy still play for Leslie.

Riley Hendrix graduated last year. He is now a feshman at Freed-Hardmon University. It is a college down in Tennessee. He is playing baseball for them on a scholarship. He is a very good kid & he will do well not just on the field but in life.

 

Also, 2 more Leslie seniors signed to play baseball @ the next level.

Jeremy Shepard signed with Alice Lloyd.

Quentin Morgan (pitcher) signed with D-I Morehead St. Quentin is the first athlete from Leslie Co to sign with a D-I school since some guy named Tim Couch signed with UK.

Brewer,Berryman and Freeman are all lefty's and are tough! Sweeeeeet.

Freeman is tough and has some power but I wouldn't put him so high on this list.

The reason i put Freeman on this list so high is because the kid can change a game with one swing of the bat i think it may have happend to powell co. last year but im not sure with a last inning home run to tie the game up. I see Freeman bringing his average up this year his power numbers up this year and a recon with in the 14th region right behind Brewer.

Yeah your right about that. But alot of players on that list can change the game with one swing. Thats the reason they are on there its a good list.

Your right, I just respect the way that Freeman approaches the plate he does not get himself out and he is very disipline at the plate.

Hazard has a couple good hitters-Colby hoskins(Sr.)who's ob% last 2 yrs. has been over 530% and batting Avg.>450-he hasn't hit for power in the past ,But I expect this yr. he will not only continue to hit for avg.,But with his added size and off season preparation I expect to see some power.Jared Mehan(Sr.) has shown that he can hit with power and has good OB% and high Avg..AJ Spare(Sr.) can also hit for power and avg..Taylon Goodson showed promise last season and I know he has worked hard in the off season.
