Last week Danville (6-0, 2-0) took care of business, winning its homecoming game against Shawnee 41-0. This week the Ads are facing 6A Southern (1-4). The Admirals defense forced three interceptions against Shawnee and the ball was spread around to multiple players. The Ads spent a lot of time letting quarterback Dillon Cruver air the ball out and other players got in on the act like senior running back Jutayvion Beasley. Talented running back Jayvean Meaux is now playing two ways on defense as the Ads are trying to find answers on that side of the ball.

Southern had a bye last week. In their last game they lost 22-0 to DeSales. Their lone win came against Doss in week 1 where they triumphed by a 55-32 score. This will be their last game before they start a three week stretch going through district opponents.

Last season the Ads hosted Southern and won 42-7. Is the result the same this year?
