To comment on the possibility of coaching changes: I believe Coach Burke is one of the brightest head coaches in northern Kentucky. I have been around a lot of good and bad coaches, and he runs a program the right way. Dixie plays a ridiculously tough schedule each year, and I think there are bigger problems that plague Dixie than the head coach. The way Kenton county runs their youth organizations never made sense to me, and they seem to give the high school coaches very little input on what goes on at the middle school level. Not to mention that Kenton county is open enrollment so kids can go to any public school in that district.

To comment on the Badin game- They are one of the best programs in the GCL Co-ed, unfortunately this result was not a shock. I believe the only reason this game was on the schedule was because there were scheduling issues and Badin was the only team available for Dixie to play week 2 last year. I would look for Dixie to find a lesser opponent for week 2 of next season so they can build some momentum early in the season.
