Coach Clarkston was an assistant this past season at West Jessamine on the girls side.  Before that, he spent several seasons at Boyle County on the boys side.

Casey County Schools is proud to announce Coach Jimmy Clarkston as the new Head Coach of the Rebels Boys Basketball Program.

A 2008 graduate of Boyle County High School and a 2012 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, Coach Clarkston was born and raised in Danville, Kentucky and has built an impressive coaching résumé across some of the region’s top basketball programs.

Coach Clarkston brings a strong background of success, championship experience, and a passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the court.

Throughout his coaching career, Coach Clarkston has been part of multiple championship teams and deep postseason runs, including:

From 2019–2025 at Boyle County High School as JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant, Coach Clarkston helped lead the program to:

? 2021 KHSAA Sweet 16 Quarterfinal Appearance
? 2021 45th District Runner-Up
? 2024 45th District Championship

Most recently, at West Jessamine High School as Varsity Assistant for Girls Basketball, he continued that championship tradition by helping lead the program to:
