2026 South Laurel Cardinals

Featured Replies

?️ | It's year three for John Hines in London. The Cardinals took a step forward last year with nine wins. The high points were a season opening win over Somerset, a 6-0 start to the season, and SL's first victory over Southwestern in nearly twenty years. The lows were a pair of blowout losses to 5A runner-up Pulaski County.

The offense will be gutted by graduation, with 90% of last year's production walking the stage. The defense will face similar challenges, as only three of the top eleven tacklers are back. That includes the linebacker duo of Malachi and Mika Smith, who combined for 250 tackles.

What does Coach Hines have up his sleeve this coming season?
