Kids are going to look at this board and see all kinds of comments good and bad. Nothing has been posted that is downgrading its just peoples opinions. Kids sometimes think that their coaches are really hard on them. Maybe seeing someone else comment on their game will make them try harder

I totally agree with this statement. I dont think people should be called out, but I am going to reply to this to make a point.

 

 

We (as in posters) say that people shouldnt be called out on here.. Well whether positive or negative anytime a person's name is mentioned they are being called out.

 

My question is: How many times do people complain when someone is being called out in a positive manner? For example, Mary Sue had a great game with 22 points and 15 rebounds. Mary Sue is technically being called out, but nothing is said because it is in a positive manner. Everyone gets fired up when we question say something thats not necessarily negative, but not all positive either.

saying positive things about someone is ok, evenly though we need to keep it about the team and not individuals, BUT saying something about a player that is bad and negative....not good!! Let the coaches get on the players all they want, but parents downgrading another kid is down right WRONG (on here or in the stands)!! It is hard to believe how some parents wish bad things and say bad things about another kid.

I dont think a kid needs to read negative comments to make them try harder everyone of these kids go out and try 100% that has to be one of the most useless comments ive heard on here!! :confused:
