Simon Kenton is a solid team, but I'm pretty surprised by this outcome. Holy Cross has some things to figure out before districts come around.

Holy Cross added the game a day before with no practice and went on the road and got beat. Give Simon Kenton and coach Steiner credit they played well last night. The Pioneers hit 11 threes on the night (8 in the first half) to build a 9-point halftime lead. Holy Cross responded and cut the lead to one a few times in the last 4 minutes but we unable to get over the hump. The 2nd quarter was the difference where SK outscored HC 19-9.

I think Scobee is the key to SK. They need a second scorer behind Bilton.
